For pediatric patients, IntelliSense™ Pediatric Defibrillation Pads are recommended for children 8 years of age or younger or weighing less than 55 lbs (25 kg). When pediatric pads are connected, the Powerheart G5 automatically adjusts energy levels and CPR guidance to pediatric protocols—ensuring safe, age-appropriate treatment.
