The HeartSine Samaritan® PAD 450P AED is an advanced defibrillator designed to improve survival outcomes by combining effective defibrillation with high-quality CPR guidance. Built with HeartSine’s proprietary ICG-based CPR Rate Advisor technology, the PAD 450P delivers continuous real-time verbal feedback, prompting rescuers with commands such as “Push faster,” “Push slower,” or “Good speed” to help achieve the optimal CPR compression rate in line with AHA guidelines.
In addition to rate guidance, the PAD 450P detects interruptions in CPR and provides immediate prompts to resume compressions, helping maximize CPR fraction—an essential factor in improving outcomes for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) victims.
To support use in loud or high-stress environments, the AED features intuitive LED-based visual indicators that work alongside voice prompts, ensuring clear guidance even when audio instructions may be difficult to hear.
Like other HeartSine AEDs, the PAD 450P features the innovative Pad-Pak™ system, which combines the battery and electrode pads into a single cartridge with one expiration date. This design significantly reduces maintenance effort and lowers total cost of ownership. Its compact size, lightweight build, and high dust and water resistance make it ideal for demanding real-world environments.
