The HeartSine® Pediatric Pad-Pak™ is a specialized all-in-one cartridge designed for use with HeartSine Samaritan PAD 350P, 360P, and 450P AEDs. This innovative solution combines the battery and pediatric defibrillation electrodes into a single unit, making AED maintenance simpler, faster, and more cost-effective.
Designed for children up to 8 years of age or weighing less than 25 kg (55 lbs), the Pediatric Pad-Pak™ works with the built-in intelligence of the HeartSine AED to automatically deliver the appropriate reduced energy level for pediatric patients—without the need for additional settings or accessories.
Each Pediatric Pad-Pak™ offers an industry-leading four-year shelf life from the date of manufacture and is capable of delivering up to 60 shocks or six hours of continuous monitoring. When remaining battery capacity drops to ten shocks or fewer, the AED emits an audible alert, helping ensure timely replacement and continued readiness.
With two components and one expiration date, the Pediatric Pad-Pak™ significantly reduces maintenance burden and lowers the total cost of ownership compared to AEDs requiring separate batteries and electrode pads.
