These pediatric pads are recommended for children 8 years of age or younger or weighing less than 55 lbs (25 kg), ensuring effective treatment during pediatric sudden cardiac arrest emergencies.
Featuring a non-polarized electrode design, the pads can be placed in either position on the chest, reducing confusion and saving valuable time during a rescue. When necessary, the pads may also be applied in a front-to-back (chest and back) configuration, providing flexibility for smaller patients.
Built-in IntelliSense™ connector circuitry allows the Powerheart G5 AED to automatically recognize the pediatric pads and instantly adjust defibrillation energy levels and CPR instructions to pediatric protocols—eliminating the need for manual settings or additional accessories.
With an approximate 2-year shelf life and clearly marked expiration date, these single-use pediatric AED pads are essential for schools, childcare facilities, pediatric clinics, gyms, workplaces, and public access AED programs that serve children.
